Research Description

Anthony Fodor's lab is focused on understanding complex microbial communities.  With his collaborators, his lab has performed surveys on a diversity of metagenomes including the human and mouse gut microbiomes, a North Carolina wastewater treatment plant and a freshwater river system in California.  His long term interests include algorithm development and the functional genomics of ion channels and transporters.
